I'm in the middle of watching The I In the Triangle right now. Decided to check if Bob had any words of wisdome for us today.
You're my only Hero, Bob.
You're missed already.
We WILL carry on your work.
If you by chance re-incarnate, please come back as something that can speak and write.
I'm going to pick out a star and think of it as you. And imagine you watching this crazy place, and laughing hopefully (meaning laughing with hope).
Good bye Robert Anton WIlson.

I was just singing a song via IM to my discordian chum.
"You don't own me... I'm not one of your little toys."
I guess I was speaking about the human body. Its hard to talk about ownership on this planet when we don't even really own our own bodies. We lease them.
I think you got a pretty good ride out of your vessel, Bob.
Thanks for making sense of Leary's 8 brain-circuit model. Thanks for teaching me about the Illuminati without making me despair and succumb to black helicopter moments of paranoia.
Thanks for all the models and the ability to smash and reshape my own.
Peace the Spork out!

This is very odd, because about a half hour ago, I knew Bob had gone on. I knew it. I felt compelled to check the website. And here it is, and on 1/11, too.
Bob is on to the greatest mystery now. How's the old hymn go -- the one who goes is happier than those he leaves behind.
To Bob's family and all those who cared for the man who gave us all so much, thank you. Please take care of yourselves. And let us all know what we may do to help you.

Sail bonnie ship like a bird on the wing onward the sailors cry, carry the lad that's born to be king over the sea to Skye. Loud the wind howels, loud the waves roar, thunderclaps rend the air, baffled our foes, stand by the shore, follow they will not dare. Though the waves heave, soft will ye sleep, ocean's a royal bed, rocked in the deep, Flora will keep watch by your weary head.
Robert you will forever be in my heart & mind, Kansha! Aho! Love, & comfort to Robert Anton Wilson's family, peace be with you all.

No ignorance and also no extinction of it,
and so forth until no old age and death
and also no extinction of them.
No suffering, no origination,
no stopping, no path, no cognition,
also no attainment with nothing to attain.
The Bodhisattva depends on Prajna Paramita
and his mind is no hindrance;
without any hindrance no fears exist.
Far apart from every perverted view he dwells in Nirvana.
In the three worlds
all Buddhas depend on Prajna Paramita
and attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
Therefore know that Prajna Paramita
is the great transcendent mantra,
is the great bright mantra,
is the utmost mantra,
is the supreme mantra
which is able to relieve all suffering
and is true, not false.
So proclaim the Prajna Paramita mantra,

this reality "models" a dream... (inside a dream.. inside a dream..)
last night I finally met the Holy Guardaian Angel, harry the rabbit, my quantum self. I had some very psychic experiences, I was shown the other side, I was shown many aspects of the fabric of our reality. I was spoken to and through by my grandfather whose birthday it was, yet I did not know this until I was on the phone with my mother and I felt his presence his transmission of consciousness showing me things from the next stage, and the stages after that...
Then I felt.. somehow I knew RAW had passed to the next level. I didn't want to believe it, and I sure as heck doubted myself. Then I looked on this blog today and to my amazement, he has. It is very surreal, amazing, sad and beautiful. I'm still in shock. But now know, in much stronger terms then I would have ever felt possible that there is so.. so much more then we could have ever and will ever imagine or know. Bob is still with us, and we will all meet again. Everything comes back around. Just be (patient).
Though while we are still here.. in this seemingly physical realm.. let us pass on his knowledge.. let's save as many as we can
thank you so much Bob :)
you are love(d)

Bob, you changed my life perhaps more than anyone else.
What you taught me as a young man will stay with me through my whole life. Later in life, when I was able to befriend you, one of my heroes, it had an even more profound impact on me.
Your intellect was so staggering.
But Bob, you were one who would advise us not to have heroes, weren't you?
Well, that is my way of raising my fist in the air and demonstrating the true nature of the Illuminati (if I understood the parable).
You say, "Have no heroes!"
I stand, my fist raised in defiance and say, "You're my hero."
I am sure that in death, as it always is, your contribution will be better recognized than it was in life.
At the very least, here is one man who owes so much to you, saying it's so.
Enjoy the trip.

A very compassionate & loving individual, he redefined what it meant to be a Thelemite & always pushed the envelope to the hilt! He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Bob was probably one of the biggest influences on my life. Reading Illuminatus when I was 16 was one of the major forces which led to my reading Crowley (and John Lilly, and John Dee, and ...) as a teenager, dropping acid, and signing up with the SubGenii as soon as I stumbled on them. I suspect I'd be a whole lot less sane today if not for his books. Hell, I might never have resolved my authority figure problems, if I hadn't become a Pope!

Others have shared here some very beautiful and personal things in memory of you, Mr. Wilson. Indeed, you have left us a great legacy of lives touched and knowledge shared.
I wish I, too, could find the right poetry to say how grateful I am for the fact of your existence in this life. But then you were never like a poem to me. More like a mantra.
"Just do go ahead."

Just a few days ago, I finally got around to penning and sending a letter to Wilson, saying all of the things that I'd meant to say all these years, namely, thanking him for all of the wonderful and weird things to think about during my formative years. It was returned in the mail, unopened, not long ago; got a bad feeling off that, I did.
The world is saddened and somewhat darkened by his passing; it is heartened and illuminated (heh) by the loss of his shell while the true RAW goes on Somewhere, Somewhen.
His W/work will go on.

In answer to the question of "why are we leaving a message for a dead guy?". We leave a message in RAW's memory, because it lives on. We leave messages for his family, who are grieving and managing this blog. We leave messages for each other, who grieve someone who influenced our lives, and was truly a legend in his own time. How's that for an answer?

Thrill with the lissome lust of the light,
O man! My man!
Come careering out of the night
Of Pan! Io Pan!
Io Pan! Io Pan! Come over the sea
From Sicily and from Arcady!
Roaming as Bacchus, with fauns and pards
And nymphs and satyrs for thy guards,
On a milk-white ass, come over the sea
To me, to me,
Come with Apollo in bridal dress
(Shepherdess and pythoness)
Come with Artemis, silken shod,
And wash thy white thigh, beautifal God,
In the moon of the woods, on the marble mount,
The dimpled dawn of the amber fount!
Dip the purple of passionate prayer
In the crimson shrine, the scarlet snare,
The soul that startles in eyes of blue
To watch thy wantonness weeping through
The tangled grove, the gnarled bole
Of the living tree that is spirit and soul
And body and brain - come over the sea,
(Io Pan! Io Pan!)
Devil or God, to me, to me,
My man! My man!
Come with trumpets sounding shrill
Over the hill!
Come with drums low muttering
From the spring!
Come with flute and come with pipe!
Am I not ripe?
I, who wait and writhe and wrestle
With air that hath no boughs to nestle
My body, weary of empty clasp,
Strong as a lion and sharp as an asp -
Come, O come!
I am numb
With the lonely lust of devildom.
Thrust the sword through the galling fetter,
All-devourer, all begetter;
Give me the sign of the Open Eye,
And the token erect of thorny thigh,
And the word of madness and mystery,
O Pan! Io Pan!
Io Pan! Io Pan Pan! Pan Pan! Pan,
I am a man:
Do as thou wilt, as a great god can,
O Pan! Io Pan!
Io Pan! Io Pan Pan! I am awake
In the grip of the snake.
The eagle slashes with beak and claw;
The Gods withdraw;
The great beasts come, Io Pan! I am borne
To death on the horn
Of the Unicorn.
I am Pan! Io Pan! Io Pan Pan! Pan!
I am thy mate, I am thy man,
Goat of thy flock, I am gold, I am god,
Flesh to thy bone, flower to thy rod.
With hoofs of steel I race on the rocks
Through solstice stubborn to equinox.
I rave; and I rape and I rip and I rend

It should be noted that RAW was not a liberal in modern sense, but an anti-statist libertarian (tho' not of the right-wing sort, true), and often critical of leftists (certainly marxists), and even of environmentalists--including vegetarians and health nazis (anti-tobacco or anti-alcohol). He was pro-NRA, wasn't he, and not a vegetarian, nor hardly a PC sort of thinker; RAW also had some not-so-pleasant words for feminists. Of course, he was no hard-core Heinleinian or Appliantologist, and yeah he didn't care for BushCo.
RAW was well read in quantum physics and Einstein, apparently (tho' perhaps a bit too willing to support fringe mysticism), and the Wizard also respected Nietzsche, Freud and Reich, semanticists, and he had read Ezra Pound and Joyce with appreciation--neither of whom were exactly liberal; and yet RAW still had a Jeffersonian aspect, along with the weirdness--and in ways the Jeffersonian aspects of his writing seem more sound than the occult or mystical. RAW was also of course not a bad satirist and comedian and yeah, pagan to his heart--not afraid to be blasphemous on occasion. Censor or wannabe Goebbels--or Cheka member (i.e. many democrats)-- he was not.
I don't enjoy all of his writings (there are some us who are not so down with the Crowley school of applied blasphemy), yet I doubt he was supportive of the little crypto-marxist rodents or teamsters commonly found scurrying about DU or Kos.

And death itself shall die

A cone of power in the stars

Bob, I was literally speaking about you with a friend, around the time you passed from the Earthly plane. We were talking about the Golden Apple of Discord, and your name came up, no surprise.
I had just posted an article about contacting the HGA, when I saw a friend's post about your physical death, and of course, was shocked/unshocked to find the time of 11:11 on my clock.
I was honored to have met you and your lovely wife when I visited Laura Jennings years ago. You were a delightful, funny and engaging man. I especially loved the night you "spilled" the IXth Degree secret of the OTO at a magickal get-together years ago.
I remember being turned onto your "Iluminati Trilogy" by Victor Koman, and his band of Libertarians/Discordians. Ah, the good old days. I didn't know you as well as I would have liked, but of course, I have your books to re-read all over again. You will certainly be missed my old friend. I know you achieved your True Will while you were here, and I look forward to having you jump into my psychic sphere and continue to share your ageless wisdom with such a Fool as I.
Many blessings Bob, you are loved.

Illuminatus! was published in Britain when I was 14, and was the start of a so-far-lifelong fascination with Bob's writing and thinking. Yeah, I know it's boring, but I'm one more of that gibbering horde testifying that the man changed my life.
I feel privileged to have interviewed him in Ireland back in '86, ostensibly for my degree dissertation on Joyce but basically because I wanted to meet him! I shall reframe forthwith his pope-letter to me.
Open the soap duckets, Bob. Unify the forces. And keep reporting back, OK?

To those who are suriviving Bob, my deepest condolences. As readers, we had a conceptualized, idealized wise old (sometimes dirty) uncle who taught us how we might think for ourselves, and that maybe people who tell you how to think could be full of bullshit. As such, we "loved" a half-imaginary figure that probably resembled the guy you actually loved.
I know that I feel an awful pang, knowing that my phantom impression of this man (if you will) isn't around in the world-- I can only imagine the cold knife it must be for you. And also the relief, I suppose, to know that he is no longer suffering any pain, and seemed content and OK with dying.
Please know that your Bob was so very cherished by so many people who never even met him. That's a rare feat.
Be well and celebrate him as well as mourn.

Which of course fit in perfectly with Discordianism once I found out about that.
Bob's words flipped switches in my software that will never be turned off. All of us who were blessed by his laughing wisdom will carry it for the rest of our lives, and the ripples created by the metaphorical rocks he threw will continue to dance across the water of life and far into the future.

Got the news Today (12th). When I heard the man was sick, I decided to read The Schrodinger's Cat Trilogy. On the 11th, I put the book down after these words:
"Starhawk moved quickly to a new perch. Carefully, he pulled up his trouser leg, tore the adhesive tape, and took a pistol from his calf. He was not smiling now."
First words read on the 12th were:
"Cheese"(Chapter heading)"Robert Pearson said "Shee-it" in a tone of profound skepticism."
Keep that skeptic eye open all the way to the Source, Bob. I'll keep reading to see what you find when you get there.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet's wings.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

I knew you'd be leaving us soon, but didn't expect it to be quite this soon. Know that you are joining the ranks of angels and bodhisattvas and that some of us who thought of you as a central figure in our personal mythologies will be placing our pen where yours left off. RAW in peace
Don't cry. Don't cry. Is it shooting stars or my misty eyes.
Lo he's gone on and left us all here.
Beyond pain and and beyond fear. I hope. We hope.
For no end except to hurt. That we're more than raised from dirt.
That the questions that burn us all, no answers given yet we heard his call.
To stand tall. To love because not just despite. To ask always first before you fight.
To push evolution forward, to spit in oblivion's eye. To curse all the gods of men who
took our sight.
You said you still held onto Arlen. Imprinted in your nervous system. Every thought
you provoked, every smile and belly laugh that shook, every tear you made me choke. To think
that giants of men could be broke. To see you weakened it took my heart. To know yours still
beat against the tide. Like seeing my grandfather wasted by time. It devastated me. And yet.
Every time you said yes when they said no. Every defiant footstep you willed. How could I not
continue to fight.
I saw you young. I saw you old. I'll see you when I've gone cold. I'll do it for them. I'll do it for
you. I'll give it all up. I'll see it through. Burning ones rise to resist the fall. You shined so bright
and passed on your light. A long chain succession. Another profound impression. A circle connected us inspired from one to another. My sons will be your brothers. As memes supersede slow genes proceed. We'll carry your fight - our fight onto our shoulders. Yours like boulders. Lifted. Gifted. Us with the will to heed. The hardest path. I won't be a stone. I'll push and defy. Even when I'm empty and have no more tears to cry. Even when I drift you'll be in my sky. I'll pass on your wisdom, maybe even find some of my own. Maybe one day, the warriors wish, like you I'll find home. Where there are no warriors and no swords. Only the maiden's kiss on the hilts, no sword that tilts and your words always in my thoughts.
I'll miss you so much.

I first read Bob in GREEN EGG, back in the early 70's. Then Illuminatus! came out... I gave away so many copies of that book.
For over 30 years, Bob's wit, wisdom and sheer intelligence has lit the darkness of my world, and that of many of my friends. We are all so much richer for the fractals Bob magickly created --and placed in our heads. He was and is unique, in taking ideas apart and putting them back together in new and novel ways, for never taking anything at face value and laughing all the way. He was the thinking person's writer-hero. The pagan and magickal world has lost the greatest thinker since Crowley.
Someone else, on another blog, noted how amusing that the LA Times, which ran Bob's obituary over 10 years ago, didn't notice when he died, this time for real.
'Every man and every woman is a star', but Bob burns so much brighter many couldn't even look.

I’ve been around, I seen the town take its fee
I seen the breeze hit the sea, looking for something to be
I’ve fucked around and done a lot of silly things
Running far in the dark, trying hard to outrace me
And as I watch the fading sunset comb its fingers
through the hair of the air dying free
I wonder to myself if I will be so beautiful and brave
When the reaper comes for me
You can’t hold a sound or its proud energy
In your hands but you can dance if you’re bold enough you see
And where the ground meets a boundless sky of dreams
You can go there you know if you close your eyes and leap
And as I watch the trees of august drop their tumbling tragic leaves
In broken wreaths on the dying green

SUGGESTED NARRATION:
Counterculture icon ROBERT ANTON WILSON passed away quietly in his Capitola home on January 11th. Wilson, perhaps best known as co-author of the 1975 cult classic novel "Illuminatus!," wrote more than 30 books and several plays, and was the subject of a 2003 documentary, "Maybe Logic." A long-time friend of such counterculture figures as Timothy Leary, Paul Krassner and George Carlin, Wilson recently gained notoriety as a vocal proponent of medical marijuana, which he claimed relieved the pain and suffering of his Post-Polio Syndrome. Robert Anton Wilson was 74 years old.

Around dawn yesterday, when Pope Bob started frolicking with the Sex Goddessess aboard the Escape Vessels, my computer happened to be employed in uploading to Usenet group alt.binaries.multimedia.slack the 10 minute video of him in the Hour of Slack radio studio (from 1987, same as the one in the course).
I was sound asleep at the time. But when I got up, I opened my t-shirt drawer full of ten zillion weirdo t-shirts, and the one on top JUST HAPPENED (??!?!?) to be my SINGLE Pope "Bob" shirt. Quite a while after I read of his Advance Personal X-Day I looked in the mirror and realized Pope Bob was looking back at me from my shirt.
That old joker!

Words can't do some feelings justice.
I'm just going to think my goodbye instead...
Having been lucky enough to be shown our roads by Bob, we should all resolve to drag ourselves and as many others as we have the energy for out of this quagmire. Like a bunch of little Bobs. We shouldn't feel obliged to grow a beard though and we should try not to be preachy or too certain of our opinions. We should all just chat about stuff with the people we know, be optimistic and keep on thinking (even when it seems sticky) Minds are highly elastic freestyle groove machines. One jewel in many.
(Hope that didn't seem too preachy, just feel that we are all very lucky and this great fella deserves a legacy we can all be proud of) Let's do it.

To Bob's family and friends, thank you for loving him and being there for him. Take care of yourselves.
In Prometheus Rising (p.258) Bob quotes the Belgian physicist Ilya Prigogine:
"A dissipative structure is highly complex and therefore highly unstable. The more complex it is, the more unstable it is, mathematically, certainly; and the more unstable, the more likely it is to change--to evolve.
All dissipative structures are teetering, perpetually, between self-destruction and re-organisation on a higher level of information (coherence)."
Farewell Bob, we'll miss your wise and beautiful words. You taught us to take nonsense seriously, or was it the other way around? Your work will live on, at a higher level of information, guiding us all forward.
I'm sure, one day our pineal glands will find the right frequency, and we'll hear from you again.
Goodbye Robert Anton Wilson, and give Eris a big kiss for me...

Thank you for what you have written; thank you for who you are. And let's all remember to Stick Apart, in the Name of Eris. Good-bye.
"Every fact of science was once Damned. Every invention was considered impossible. Every discovery was a nervous shock to some orthodoxy. Every artistic innovation was denounced as fraud and folly. The entire web of culture and ‘progress’, everything on earth that is man-made and not given to us by nature, is the concrete manifestation of some man's refusal to bow to Authority." -- Robert Anton Wilson, with Robert Shea, Illuminatus! Trilogy
"It was Greg Hill and Kerry Thornley who founded the Discordian Society, which is based on the worship of Eris, the Goddess of Chaos, discord, confusion, bureaucracy and international relations. They have no dogmas, but one catma. The catma is that everything in the universe relates to the number 5, one way or another, given enough ingenuity on the part of the interpreter. I found the Discordian Society to be the most satisfactory religion I had ever encountered up until that point, so I became a Discordian Pope. This is done by excommunicating all the Discordian Popes you can find and setting up your own Discordian Church. This is based on Greg's teaching that we Discordians must stick apart." -- Robert Anton Wilson

Time to Die
Ikkyu, the Zen master, was very clever even as a boy. His teacher had a precious teacup, a rare antique. Ikkyu happened to break this cup and was greatly perplexed. Hearing the footsteps of his teacher, he held the pieces of the cup behind him. When the master appeared, Ikkyu asked: "Why do people have to die?"
"This is natural," explained the older man. "Everything has to die and has just so long to live."
Ikkyu, producing the shattered cup, added: "It was time for your cup to die."

And not, and not recieve

And yes, you never inspired me, indeed! Almost never. Now, back to work, slaves.

I met R.A.W. once, at a lecture held in the Scottish Rite Auditorium.
I was a bit nervous and didn't know what to say to him. He looked over at me, surrounded by many people that wanted to talk to him, and he said..
"Enjoying the Game?"
I didn't really understand what he meant, but smiled, nodded, and laughed a bit, falling back into the crowd unsure.
These days, many years later, I'm just starting to learn how to enjoy "the Game." But, I don't think I would have realized there were no rules without to my game of life if I hadn't found R.A.W.

It was with some sadness that I learned of the passing of Robert A. Wilson this morning. Much like the Dadaists, Wilson helped to enlarge the reality tunnel in which I now reside. And he did it mischeiviously and most always very entertainingly. Yet his messages were not only thought provoking, they were deadly serious.
Strangely, a week or so ago, I went in search of my Cosmic Trilogies to patch up the walls of my reality tunnel. Finding vols. II and III, volume I eluded me.
But after this morning's news, I felt compelled to search again and, *cosmically*, there it was, leading me to ponder (as RAW always did), if lasagne might indeed fly!

It was with surprise and sadness that I discovered that you died, Bob. Your Schrodinger's Cat trilogy provided a very practical application and understanding of quantum mechanics and reality, which really altered my view of how I see things in life.
I often will amuse myself by thinking how different my life is because of choices I didn't make for this eigenstate.
So, I delight in the fact that, in another eigenstate, you are alive as Roberta Antonia Wilson, mother of five, grandmother of two, a happy homemaker in Iowa, living in relative obscurity.
Thank you for expanding my mind to the possibilities...all of them.

Here's an excerpt from one of Bob's webpage posts from about nine years ago (got to 'previous thoughts' to find it):
"Death makes me realize how deeply I have internalized the agnosticism I preach in all my books. I consider dogmatic belief and dogmatic denial very childish forms of conceit in a world of infinitely whirling complexity. None of us can see enough from one corner of space-time to know "all" about the rest of space-time.
Every day is full of wonderments to me: Death will probably come to me as the greatest wonderment of all."

A friend turned me onto the Illuminatus Trilogy in 1997. When I read the books RAW wrote early on that the books would re-program my mind. They surely did. Everything in my life changed. RAW changed the course of my life forever and I am eternally grateful.
I met him twice: the 1998 Prophets Conference in Port Townsend, WA and my favorite, the 1999 Prophets Conference (I think it was that year) in Palm Springs. I loved it because Mr. Wilson terrified the elderly folks with his prolific cussing that he very calculatedly threw out at the new-age audience. Scandalous and perfect. I loved how he "took the piss out of" the scene and made things very, very real. And I loved when I met him the second time and he had just met up with Paul Krassner for the first time many years. I felt privileged to be able to sit there and witness their reminiscences.
I loved the way he loved Arlen and cared for her. I love his wit, wide-ranging mind, candor and ineffable sense of humor. He changed my life and altered forever the way I look at life.
His passing is a lark, a walk in the park of eternity.
Anika

He tought me how to look at the world for what it is - a screwed up collection of nincompoops trying to one-up each other, but he also taught me that you cannot have a meangingful conversation with an opponent until you first assume his position and understand why you are opposed to it.
"Uncle Bob" would be pleased to know that it was just last Thursday that I sat hunched down in front of my library of his books and pulled down The Illuminatus Trilogy and thumbed through it - marvelling at the passages I had underlined. Coincidence? Probably not.
Whatever parallel universe he's inhabiting now, I hope to visit sometime soon for a good smoke and a large glass of warm brandy.
I'll miss you, Bob :>(

erm i think samajckaman might possibly have partaken in one too many ales when he posted his oh-so-eloquent tribute to the mighty BOB a few nights ago. Here's why I suspect this:
1. he misspelt his own name (always a bit of a give-away, that)
2. He failed to use the word "INSPIRATION"
3. He neglected to point out that his daughter was born on the first day of the 23rd week of the year (6/6/2004) (an event which had not been meticulously planned, as if you plan these things; she was 5 weeks early)
4. He humbly beseeched assistance in a matter when he should really be assisting his own sorry arse
5. Worst of all, he saluted half the known world and some other random deceased folks without mentioning Bob's family and friends who've been left gazing at the space where he once was and he has asked me to convey his deepest sympathy and love to them. Compared to their loss we're just a bunch of gloaters.
Bob, I just wish I'd written to you earlier, but I have faith that that my inadequate ramblings and thoughts will reach you somehow. Thank you for everything.

When I heard that Bob had passed, early afternoon on 01/11, I offered a peace pipe and remembered Bob's book signing trips in the '80's (and before and after) when he would sometimes stay with us in Morristown.
And particularly one time in '82, I think, when he used our Commodore 64 for an online chat -- one of the first of these ever. We were all amazed, watching Bob sitting in our living room, responding to questions from people thousands of miles away. This was before graphic interfacing, so we all watched the cursor spell out questions and answers in little white letters on a blank field.
On 01/11/07 Kathy and I had participated in the worldwide peace meditation that occurred from 11 AM to noon (EST) and noticed that the Global Consciousness Project EGG summary dot changed from green to red at 11 am and stayed red until noon. Haven't seen it stay red that long before - www.noosphere.princeton.edu
Wonder if we were seeing some energy swell through global consciousness synchronistic to Bob's passing.
Certainly... Bob is not here, but not gone. Missed, and remembered.

Funny thing happened in australia last night. I was flipping through the free to air channels at about 12:30 am when on the ABC they had a movie about the life of Sister Kenny. Now when I worked out that the movie was about her and it made me then think how that method helped him get over his childhood polio. I then had a feeling to take a look at my mobile and the date on my screen was the 25th. Which made me chuckle. Then it hit me that Bob died on the 11th, 14 days before (1+4=5)!!!!!. I know time differences between Oz and US doesn't make this synchronistically perfect but it is enough for a RAW fan like myself to warm my heart that is still saddened by the loss of such a great mind.

battered leather suitcase, underneath lots of notepads covered with byro drawn reapeating symbols
while cleaning out a cupboard on the psychopath ward as a student psychiatric nurse, the lid was
blown forcably off my head. The battered copy came with cryptic side notes from the patient. I
was hooked. What followed was more Bob, and Crowley, Astral stuff failed, meditation and Yoga.
Thanks Bob, life is a lot more interesting thanks to you.

Bob was one of THE most original thinkers. I sadly only became of aware of him and his work in the late 1980’s. He had this great ability to stir up debate in people, and force them to completely re-think their place in the world. A great man.

Thanks, Bob. If thought is a river, you were Charon to me (and I'm still exploring new lands every day!). We'll keep evolving and diffusing your culture, omnidirectionally, laughing all the time, with 23 flaming giraffes as our ride.
One of the most important thing you taught me is that there can never be a dull day.
You're alive in our hands and words, because "in quella parte dove sta memora, prende suo stato".
Pump up the Negentropy!
Love with no horse, no wife and no mustache,

Just learned about it now after watching the Maybe Logic DVD, and admiring RAW's optimism and wisdom in spite of all of his trials... Decided to check his website...
I'll be missing you so much, Bob.
Haven't cried for a long time
But today I did
Though I'm in tears I know
I'll see you in a better place.
Thank you for everything you've done to me and all not-so-conditioned people here in Russia and entire world.
Sure you'll go on enlightening us in Western Heaven, oh Bob-hisattwa!
